I find that the intermittent fasting is not really all that hard to do (at least not the 16 hrs. overnight). Overall, I feel like I have done fairly well and can continue with the mindset of what we have been doing.
I have learned something though and that is I am very much an emotional eater. Working 4 hrs. away from my home and family is tough and when I come back to Arkansas after visiting home it takes me a couple days to get over the depression of missing home, my family and my friends. Yesterday (Monday) was a tough day for me so I chose to go out with my camera and do a little photography as opposed to going to my Townhouse and just sitting there by myself just wasn't a good idea. The downside to that was I didn't get in my exercise; however, it did help me deal with the emotions I was feeling. So tonight, I will do my exercise, do some laundry and I am going through cook books (writing down recipes that I really like) to put in one central cookbook binder and finally do away with all the clutter from all of the cookbooks that I have. I also find that as I get rid of clutter it frees up my mind and spirit as well to achieve greater things for my body. When I de-clutter I feel lighter. How about you? Is there anything in your lives that makes you feel lighter when you do it? I would love to hear about your triggers!
