Well, today was "D" day. I started with a group called Shed the Fat with BeachBody. The amazing coach is Amber Blanch and I found her through Zumba workouts on YouTube. I have been following her on facebook for a while now and when she started a new group I jumped on it. Tomorrow I will weigh in at the Dr.'s office and have measurements taken. We are starting out doing a fast of 16 hrs. per day and protein at 50%, fat at 30% and carbs @ 20%.
Today was an example of my busy lifestyle. I worked from 7am to 6pm and still had to go grocery shopping. Made it home a little after 7 which I then put groceries away and immediately did my work out. Tonight I chose to do non-contact kickboxing which literally kicked my booty.
I am hoping this program will help me with eating healthier routinely and learning to take care of myself which yes, does include exercise. I know that word is not my favorite either but as I get older, I am learning it needs to be a staple in my life.
