Today is day 4 of the intermittent fasting and it is not quite as bad as I thought it would be. One fasts for 16 hours of the day and then can eat sensibly during the next 8 hours. I chose to fast between 7pm and 11am which overall works pretty good for me. I still find myself getting a little hungry in the mornings but so far nothing that is not manageable. I generally have my cup of coffee with 1T creamer and some splenda (keep it below 50 calories) and that usually staves off the hunger for a while. It is 10am right now and I do feel some hunger pains but generally I can get myself involved in something else and can push through it. Of course, the real proof is in how one feels, weight lost, muscle mass gained, etc. So, over the next few weeks I will keep coming back to this and giving updates so stay tuned.
