I wanted to share with you this delightful salad that I made the other night. It has a twist to the typical spinach salad that I grew up eating.
Spinach Goat cheese Red Onion - chopped Cooked Bacon pieces Green apple cut into small chunks I then topped this with a wonderful Honey Mustard dressing 1/4 C. honey 2 T. Dijon mustard 2 T. apple cider vinegar 1/2 C extra virgin olive oil Fresh ground salt & pepper to taste Blend well until all ingredients are incorporated and the dressing is smooth. I obtained the salad dressing recipe from the book Top 50 Most Delicious Salad Dressing Recipes. I thought this recipe was worth sharing and will be on my list to make again in the very near future. Enjoy!

After many years of scrubbing a crock pot, I decided to give the baking bags a try. I know they make crock pot bags but I had read that these work just as well and not nearly as expensive. Now, I do not know about the cost but I must say the baking bag worked like a charm. I buttered my turkey breast underneath and on top of the skin and then put a packet of onion soup mix on top and inside along with about a cup of chicken broth. I did manage to get a nice crisp skin on top of the turkey breast and it melted in my mouth. Overall, it was an A+ and very successful! I will most certainly use these bags again in the future and save myself some time in the kitchen after the meal :).
